The return to Sludge Hill

In perfect weather conditions (for November) of no rain or wind, the annual club hill climb returned to the popular Sludge Hill Farm course near Tilton-on-the-Hill. The entry field of twenty riders included fourteen Ratae members. Some fast times were posted with seven sub-two minute rides. Overall winner of the event and of the club's Men's Senior Trophy was Alex Whitmore (pictured) in 1:23 with new member Ophelia Vesely winning the Women's Senior in 2:19. Fastest woman overall was Welland Valley CC member Kamila Prangnell in 2:03.

Well done everybody who took part and who came along to give vocal support. Special thanks must be given to Sludge Hill Farm for the use of their yard.
