In a month when most of us were looking out of the window waiting for the rain to stop, a competitive team of Ratae members were keeping up our fine run of a category winner in each season of racing in the Leicestershire Cyclo-Cross League. It is with great sadness that the club announces the death of Bill Powell. Bill died peacefully in hospital on August 1st. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Colleen, Bill's wife,. Bill was a long-standing and Honorary Life Member who gave continued support to all aspects of club life once his racing days were over.
