Congratulations to Biggi in LCXL season

In a month when most of us were looking out of the window waiting for the rain to stop, a competitive team of Ratae members were keeping up our fine run of a category winner in each season of racing in the Leicestershire Cyclo-Cross League. Our outstanding competitor this season was Biggi Gaillard who topped the Master 60+ Women category with strong, consistent racing throughout the rounds. Congratulations Biggi.

Of the rest of the team, Mark Newton once again rode strongly in every round with Chris Spray, Ed Watson and Paul Eden performing well, if in fewer rounds, and John Refearn making a late entry in Round 5.

And, of course, no Ratae CX season would be complete without our chief mechanic Jack Burton keeping the wheels moving and chief cheerleader Sylvia Lawson keeping the riders' spirits high when the going got sticky. Well done everyone.
