RIP Bill Powell - Colleen's tribute

It is with great sadness that the club announces the death of Bill Powell. Bill died peacefully in hospital on August 1st. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Colleen, Bill's wife,.

Bill was a long-standing and Honorary Life Member who gave continued support to all aspects of club life once his racing days were over. Those of us who didn't know Bill during his riding years will have known him as a happy friend at

club dinners and time trials.

There will be a family cremation followed by the scattering of Bill's ashes in woods at Wells-next-the-Sea, where Bill and Colleen spent many happy holidays.
