Saturday 30 March saw the final event of the club's four early season time trials with the awards of The Leveller trophies for the fastest riders on road bikes. Long term club member Bill Powell had the honour of awarding
the men's trophy to Phil Rayner of Welland Valley CC and the women's to Amy Fuller, in her first event since joining Ratae RC. Congratulations to both Amy and Phil.
In a month more noted for its record rainfall all four March TT's were blessed with dry, if occasionally windy conditions. There were an excellent number of entries by Ratae club members as well as a superb support from Welland Valley CC whose members showed up in good numbers. We hope everyone enjoyed their racing and are looking forward to our summer series which starts in May. Full details will follow soon on the Events page and WhatsApp.
And to complete a successful Easter for the club and its members Sylvia Lawson and Mark Newton competed in Leicestershire RC's gruelling road bike 27 mile Hilly TT on course AH/1 at Twyford on Easter Monday (see photos). Chapeau!
