Biggi and Erol Gaillard have become the latest additions to the Ratae Road Club's records following their successful completion of LEJOG over the fourteen days from April 8th to 21st.
Their 1616 km (1004 mile) route took them through 15,255 metres (50,050 feet) of climbing and they enjoyed (should that be endured?) three seasons of weather in a fortnight with hailstorms and rain in the first week, drizzle in the second but finished the ride with three days of glorious Scottish sunshine.
As Biggi said after the finish, "All in all an epic trip!". We'll all second that and give a hearty "Congratulations" to them for their achievement.
